Make sure your QR code image is displayed at a reasonable size — at least 5cm x 5cm when printed. Ensure there is good lighting and the screen or print is not damaged or blurry. Try scanning from a distance of 20–30cm. If using a printed version, try downloading a fresh copy from your dashboard.
Check you are using your username (not your email) to log in. Passwords are case-sensitive. If you have forgotten your password, contact support@taptipping.com.au and we will reset it for you within 1 business day.
Ask the customer to check their card details are correct and that their card supports online payments. Some bank cards block online transactions by default — the customer may need to enable online payments through their banking app. Stripe accepts Visa, Mastercard, and most major debit cards.
Stripe processes payouts on a standard schedule — typically 2 business days after a transaction for Australian accounts. Log in to your Stripe dashboard to check your payout schedule and balance. If you believe a payout is missing, contact support@taptipping.com.au with your registered email.
Your username must be unique and contain only letters, digits, and the characters @/./+/-/_. Your password must be at least 8 characters and cannot be entirely numeric. If you see an error during registration, read the message carefully as it will tell you exactly what needs to be fixed.
Currently account details can be updated through the admin panel. Contact support@taptipping.com.au to request a name or email change and we will update it for you.
Log out immediately, then contact support@taptipping.com.au urgently. We will suspend your account, investigate, and help you secure it. Do not share your password with anyone.
